Ecommerce, the big driver of employment in sales.

by Raquel Rosa, March 27, 2020
Gone are the long queues and waits at the door of the department store, these images of consumers running for the bargain are now part of the history of television and the collective imagination.
One of the qualities that increasingly characterise sales is the duality of shopping, on the street and online. Now the attention and time of the customers has moved to the virtual shopping baskets. 58% of Spaniards, yes, more than half of the population, bought online in the previous sales, according to a Marketplaces study by Tandem.
And what do consumers expect to find? As a survey carried out by the agency Elogia indicates, most buyers expect to be able to buy with between 30 and 40% discount, moreover, 2 out of 10 women expect offers above 50%.
Fashion and technology will be, once again, the most demanded products.
Where? According to the same survey, Amazon is king. One out of four marketplace shoppers bought at the North American portal in the past sales. And 9 out of 10 consumers plan to place their orders on marketplaces, followed by the stores' own websites.

Yes, sales are already here.
