Orienteed launches ecommerce operations in the Middle East

by Orienteed announcements, November 23, 2022

Orienteed, one of Europe's leading ecommerce solutions providers, has announced the expansion of its operations in the Middle East.

The company's venture to the Middle East is another strategic step in its plan to extend its global expertise. It has already established strong ties with development firms in the region for several years now. The new office will be the company's third launched outside of its Spanish headquarters, after Italy (Sep 2021) and India (Feb 2022).

"The opening of Orienteed's new Middle East office is an important step to nurture and further grow our development expertise," said Orienteed Group CEO, Francesco Schettini. "It will be a critical hub for us to be able to respond quicker to changes in market demands and the needs of our clients."

The ecommerce industry throughout 2022 has undergone a period of normalization after the massive surge of activity observed in the pandemic. Nevertheless, digital transformation and investment in technology have remained high in the priority list for major retail players and marketplaces.

In order to meet the increasing market demand, Orienteed has invested strategically to complement its ecommerce development services. Its portfolio now also consists of diversified product offerings such as:

  • Valido, an audit, testing and monitoring solution for online businesses,
  • Crowlify, a cloud native tool that simplifies the build and deploy of the HCL Commerce stack,
  • B2BStore, its customized ecommerce platform solution for B2B retailers.
  • LongBOARD, a unique tool that provides real-time visualization of Quality Assurance KPIs in performance & load testing.
